Switzerland 2025: Zoe Me with ‘Voyage’

The home turf entry is here with Zoe Me ironically making the shortest voyage of all to this year's contest:

Very very subtle from Switzerland here. A ballad is always a safe choice as a host entry though they are usually a bit more imposing or anthemic. Voyage has a hum along melody but not much of a lasting hook and it's hard to say how long this will stay in the memory. Even the most generous manipulation of the running order might not stop this from being forgotten just two or three songs later max.

It does fit the bill as the classic type of entry with dark horse potential: a song that if it draws well, the staging is just right and Zoe can connect could do better than expected. Not a common occurrence and 9 times out of 10 these just don't do anything of note.

Switzerland are also fighting against a host vote lag and a pile of French entries, and we've yet to hear the hyped French song itself so it's current usp may not hold up much.

The jury vote is likely their best bet but that is also something difficult to judge until we get to Basel. This feels something easy to place generously in a ranking but not necessarily at the top of one. For what it's worth, I do think this is behind some of the other current so called jury contenders this year, but not to an extent staging couldn't change that.

No sighting yet of the random draw for this and who knows if that has been scrapped or not. If it has, expect this to be treated as well as possible.

Overall, Juries and some regional support should put this into midtable at the worst with Switzerland working upwards from there depending on if they can create a moment or not.
