Armenia 2023: Brunette with ‘Future Lover’

Armenia are looking to build on their first appearance in the final for a long time last year with Brunette leading the charge:

Mini disclaimer that I have a soft spot for Armenia and their entries and this is a bit of a return to their 2014-2019 style (with the exception of 'Face The Shadow') which I really enjoyed.

This definitely sits at the lower end of the quality scale compared to that era and it lacks the immediacy and power of those entries.

Despite being a personal favourite, Srbuk in 2019 was also one of my best qualification lays and whilst stylistically this shares many of the issues that did, the barrier to qualify is far lower in this semi, this year so I would expect it to qualify.

Looking back, I've said that for almost every country in this semi final however so something has to give...

I’d expect this to be a little lost in the final and it will probably do worse than it should there with a lack of any big points.
