Belgium 2022: Jeremie Makiese with ‘Miss You’

One of the first confirmed artists of the year has finally shared what they've been working on:

I'm afraid there's not much interesting I can say about this that hasn't been said already: starts promising, runs out of ideas and becomes totally disjointed. The idea to mix this up might not be so bad but it just doesn't work.

Belgium have a thing for bringing some of the coldest and least interesting stagings which will probably combine with the shortcomings of the song to make a poor televote score.

Jurors should be kinder with Jeremie's strong vocal but this may still prove too messy even for their tastes.

A second half draw only helps but Belgium remain fairly friendless in the semi and are not one I'm expecting to see in the final right now, although it's not hopeless.
