Croatia 2022: Mia Dimsic with ‘Guilty Pleasure’

Croatia's entry for 2022 will be ‘Guilty Pleasure’ after Mia Dimsic won through Dora.

Mia is quite empathetic and connects well with the camera but I'm still not sure this holds enough interest for the full three minutes. Refinements with the gymnast concept are needed to aid with this and the story telling but there's a concept to work from which is something.

It's another for the problematic “nice” but one or two of those tend to find their way to the final and this is one of the better examples so far.

It's quite a bombastic semi final so far which could lead to a fair jury score and this fortunately finds itself in the second half of the draw which is a boost. This doesn't particularly excel in any area and looks a fairly standard 60-90 pts type range so falls in the borderline for now.
