Slovenia 2022: LPS with ‘Disko’

Slovenia's EMA winners LPS take their place in Turin with their disco throwback:

It's rare Slovenia pop up with much and sadly this is another weak entry. The group have a bit of a charm to them but once the first 20 seconds of goodwill are gone I find this a real drag to sit through and it leaves very little impression here. I'm still looking for any kind of hook.

There's some staging potential and this does need a gimmick to have any hope of being remembered. That gimmick should not however be something out of Dadi's playbook, all they're doing is reminding the audience of previous, better entrants.

Despite not being the hardest semi ever, it still looks a tall order for this to enter the discussion of qualifying and are more likely to find themselves near the bottom on the Tuesday than in the final.
