Odds Review- Week Ending 04/04

There are a few winners and losers from the running order but the most clear beneficiary is of course Malta who re-open their gap at the top of the odds giving us our first clear favourite since all the songs were released. Semi previews are on their way and whilst it seems a year where a lot can change between then and the final, the shortening is justified. Despite the presence of Sasha Jean Baptiste, they are still however the one with the least to go off in terms of staging. As a result of Malta’s support, it’s pretty much a sea of red in the odds as most of the chasing pack drift out.

Israel are one of the few other countries to have found some love in the market with a surprisingly positive response in the escbubble 'public reacts' videos the likely cause. This is an overreaction of course and qualification would still be an achievement.

France too have one hell of a stubborn price as they venture back under 8. Like Switzerland they have found some promotion on Spanish tv.

Following a brief push into the low 30s TIX and Norway are also back to their regular low 40s price whilst neighbours Sweden also slip down a little, perhaps on account of their draw of 4th in semi one.

Cyprus are back into the 40s as their rollercoaster ride in the odds continues. The move this time likely caused in part by an amateur video of some suspect Elena vocals at a gathering.

And finally, Iceland see themselves back into the mid to high 20s. It's unlikely the market will completely write off such a heavy pre song favourite before rehearsals and if Dadi does find himself 30+ he’ll most likely be in big trouble with some poor metrics.
