Lithuania 2025: Katarsis with ‘Tavo Akys’

There’s rarely an upset in Lithuania's selection with the big favourite winning comfortably yet again:

This is an interesting song that Katarsis have brought and I can see why it’s a bit of a favourite of many. This is a very competent and professional package and for better or worse the least “eurovisiony” of the lineup so far - certainly one for the purists and there is no nonsense here.

I’m not sure whether the structure of this works in a competitive environment entirely and this might be more of a mood piece than something to generate a tonne of votes. Lithuania have one of the more reliable diaspora's and once again this is an entry to get behind. I also picture some strong regional support here so there is certainly a floor to this of 80pts~ in the final with the question how many can be added.

I’m a little less sure on the juries with this where this may either be moderately supported or entirely overlooked but that is a test I am sure this will face; Lithuania have a strong qualification record, this has already been seen staged to a good standard and is currently the most well rounded package in the first half of semi 2.

I don't really have too much or any strong opinion to say on this honestly despite it being a bit unique. Overall this is just a very solid entry that has a chance at top 10 but more likely gets a bit lost and finishes in the middle somewhere.
